I own at last count,92 Roman coins. This is my hoard. But,I’m about a year,I will be bringing them all back(except one of my 2 Hadrian coins). They need to cross back over to your side of the ocean. They need to come home.
Thanks Paul! Certainly gives us more confidence with the new machine. You always have a slight worry you might be missing things when you’re back to learning again! Take care 🤎
I would love to find a Siliqa they're similar enough to Skeets which were I think only minted by traders not Kings makes me kind of wonder if the Saxons were descended from the same Roman stock and harping back to a Golden Age
I am also not a dangerous stranger😅

Oh! BTW,how did I aquire this many Romans?
eBay,back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s was an online car boot sale, there were things sold by people who had no idea what they had.
I got Romans for between 5 dollars to 30 dollars!!!
Not as fun as finding one by way of detecting, but I couldn’t resist the deals! They’re all legit, btw.
Proper Romans.
Send us pictures of your Roman hoard Charles!! We’d love to see them! 😍
Ok I’ll get on that right now! Btw,I did a recount, sorry it’s more like 84 actually
Really enjoyed this Ellie and Lucie, congrats on the great find, extra special of course as found with a new piece of kit. Thank you as always.
